Savannah - Harold A. Wheeler, 73, died May 11, 2009 at Candler Hospital. He was born in Swampscott, MA, son of the late Harold and Ruth Eaton Wheeler. He retired as a TSgt. from the United States Air Force. Mr. Wheeler moved to Savannah in 1980 from Summerville, SC and was an aircraft mechanic for Gulfstream Aerospace retiring after 15 years of service.
Surviving are his wife, Marilyn M. Wheeler of Savannah; daughter, Ann Williams of Savannah and sister, Sandra Cook of Peabody, MA.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
